Why a Packtowl® towel and not a cotton towel?

A Packtowl towel is lightweight, super-absorbent, and dries very quickly. Unlike a cotton towel, a Packtowl towel absorbs water in a continuous sheet, and when you wring it out, 90% of the liquid is released. Try that with a cotton towel!

What is the difference between the material used in the Packtowl Original towel vs. the Ultralite, Personal and Nano towels?

The main difference is in the materials they are made from. The Packtowl Original towel is made from a super-absorbent 100% natural viscose material, while the Packtowl Personal, Ultralite and Nano towels are made from a supple microfiber blend of polyester and nylon. The Packtowl Original towel is more absorbent than the others, but not as soft to the touch.

Why isn't my new Packtowl Original towel as soft or absorbent as my old Packtowl Original towel?

The Packtowl Original towel will become softer and more absorbent the more you wash and dry it. Just throw it in with your next load of laundry.
