This sizing chart serves as an approximate guide to flotation requirements. For snowshoeing on firm snow or established snowshoe trails, MSR recommends using our standard 22" snowshoes for all weight ranges. This size will provide more than enough flotation, plus it will be lighter and more nimble than larger models. If you spend the majority of your time snowshoeing in softer and deeper snow, MSR recommends adding our optional tails to the Denali and Evo models or moving up in size with one of our Lightning models.
