"Too early to tell. Loved the way it went up and the way the fly fit. But the living room and some wilderness location are…well…different! Thanks."
"So far, it looks good. Tent material is smooth and overall tent looks sterdy."
"I love this tent! It feels sturdy and honestly love that the fly colour is green. It has great ventilation and served my friend and I well on our 4 day canoe trip in the Yukon!"
"I have only used it once so far, but it is very well built, comfortable, stayed dry in pretty intense rain and is light enough for me for backpacking. My only complaint so is that the stuff sack is way too big so it doesn’t compress at all. It would be nice if it had some compression straps."
"A sturdy tent with innovative features. It can take a little time to set up but I think it pays off with regards to quality. The same is true for the weight/size - I had a much lighter 2 person tent from MSR before this but it was rather delicate whereas this one could survive a small hail storm. Before purchasing, just consider which tradeoff you're willing to go for. If you're looking for quality, this is a strong option."
"I operate a wilderness river guide service up here in Alaska and have used the Elixer tents to shelter our guests for many years. Some of the Elixers have been keeping people dry for seven or so years, and all of them are used twenty to thirty days each summer. I don't understand these reviews that mention faulty rain flies, these people must not be drying the flies out thoroughly before storing them. We have had no issue with these tents leaking. Probably these folks are experiencing condensation, which certainly will occur if the tent is not properly vented. And if packed away damp for an extended period of time, there will be issues."
"Easy assembly light weight roomy"
"I bought this product one year ago and it has been on sub zero campouts to high elevation camps. I have 30 nights of camping in this tent and it works great. I have had no issues Just keep it clean and maintained. No tears zippers still work great. No leaks and holds up well in 50mph gusts."
"I bought this tent for my trip to Olympic National Park in Summer 2014. It was light and easy to set up after a long day of trekking through the rain forest and mountains. It was breathable but kept us dry in the humid conditions and well ventilated in the summer heat. My cousin and I had ample room for our gear and sleeping arrangements, as well as shelter from the rain with spacious vestibules for boots and packs. It packed down small enough to be incorporated into my carry-on sized hiking pack. On my most recent trip this past fall to Acadia National Park, we camped by the ocean in this tent and experienced a huge rain storm that rained 6 inches in one day! The bath tub bottom on this tent performed outstandingly and not a drop seeped into our tent. The rain fly also withstood heavy rain and gusty winds for 3 days of straight rain! I have to stay that I am impressed with the features and quality of this tent!"
