"I bought these pots to have some larger sized pots that are still lightweight while backpacking since we like to cook a lot more than just boiling water! We have used these pots with our MSR stove one 3 backcountry trips now and have burnt something every time no matter how low we set the stove. I think these are good for boiling water and the 1L and 2L sizes are perfect but unfortunately we are pretty disappointed otherwise. We just simmer things like pasta, instant rice, and instant mashed potatoes but have ended up with a slightly burnt meal every trip no matter how low we have the stove and stirring pretty constantly which defeats the purpose of having lids! It seems to just be the middle of the pot burns where the flame is. I think the pots are just too too thin so the heat can't spread. We love out stove though!"
"This is the third set of these we've purchased. We need one for our new van. It's the perfect camping cookware set."
"Ripoff. 4 pot set is only 3 pots!"
"Use this for car camping and it's great. I also have the tea kettle and it gets used all the time."
"I got the pot set 3 months ago and decided to give up using it after the 2nd use. The pot are indeed a way too sticky but like in a big time way whereas I used a LOT of olive oil with gentle cooking (msr stove). The pot are also too thin to be durable . I'm a 20 years MSR products user so I could see the quality evolution. When I returned the pot set the answer I got was it's just about a bad use... OK noted it was then my last MSR purchase...."
"Initial impressions, this is a great set. Surprisingly lightweight. I bought it primarily to use car camping and like that it nests easily. You need to use more oil/butter than you think to prevent sticking, a bit of a learning curve compared to ceramic pots, but I chose this one as I believe the materials will last for many, many years of use. Side note: I've had the stainless steel stow-a-way pot for over 15 years and it's still great. Stainless steel feels way more durable in the long haul."
"I already knew the quality of these pots, as I used to have a set in "my filthy hippie days" 30+ years ago. Now we are full time van lifers and they work exceptionally well for this too!"
"They are a great size, nestle nice and clean up is easy!"
"These pots are incredibly durable, and easy to maneuver with the pot grip. I wish I could purchase the large pot separately. We use these with big groups for camping and backpacking."
