"This is a gift for someone who is replacing wornout camping gear. She is pleased with the functionality and convenience of the bag."
"They're on their way to our son's guiding operations to be used for water drops and hauls through dry camping areas in the Grand Canyon. . . true lifelines."
"I've been using these for nearly a decade now, mostly the heavier duty ones to cache water along some of my longer backpacking trip routes. Or even to take water to a camp site for cooking, showers and more. These bags have been great over the years, even the lightweight ones. Cleaning is easy enough, and I store them in my freezer between uses. Great bags."
"The functionality and durability are superb! And the only reason I am giving these bags 3 stars is strictly because of the potent rubbery/chemical taste that leeches out into the water. I've tried cleaning them out using a few different methods to help with the bonus bag taste, but so far no luck."
"This purchase was for my husband. He needed a hydration pack with the Nalgene compatible lid because his old lid cracked. He's is very happy with the quality of the Dromedary. However, I had to purchase a non-MSR aftermarket DIY lid with hose (straw) from a seller on eBay since there is no longer a converter kit available from MSR. The weight, durability, grommet system and Nalgene adaptability make this an ideal hydration pack."
"I love the Dromedary water bags. I meant to and thought I ordered a 6L bag but somehow, without knowing it ordered the 4L, so be careful when ordering."
"overall a good product. But I liked the older version better. The grommets were in a better spot and the lid was easier to use. bummer that lots of good quality classics get "upgraded"."
"This is my second Dromedary bag. The first one, now many years old and still going strong, has a single attachment point at its top, which enables you to hang the bag from a tree or inside a tent. The new Dromedary doesn't have a single-point attachment, and if you try to hang it from the webbing straps, it collapses upon itself. Holding it up by hand when filled with 10 L of water, and aiming the water stream into a water bottle, is an exercise in frustration. It's also nigh unto impossible to carry as a backpack. The small attachment cord on the cap does nothing but get in the way and makes unscrewing the cap difficult. The DromLite bags have the single-point attachment. Why not the burlier bag? I didn't experience any bad taste from the water, as other users have noted."
"I’ve liked using the bag before but no straw included. Boo. I see a review with the same issue back in August. Two months later and no hoses."
