Love these

"Absolutely love these I get knee pain when hiking did eight hikes in three and a half days in Jasper and the first day I had such bad pain in my knee and ankle and then that afternoon I bought these poles at a local store and never had knee pain the rest of the trip will never leave them behind on a hike again I would love to know if they have rubber tips for when on concrete or rock"

Great poles

"Great Poles, I have used these for Hiking, XC Skiing, PT Balance exercises & Snowshoeing. they collapse down enough for travel. Strong and works great! I even bought a pair for my dad to use!"

Philip J. (5/5)

Poles slide out and catch knees

"The poles are sturdy when fully extended but the dynalock did not keep them in place when in the retracted position. Was pretty disappointed and surprised - high risk of catching the backs of your legs and/or tearing gear when strapped to the back of a pack or when carrying them in the retracted position."

Louise A. (2/5)

Durable!

"Took these on the sea wall trail (meat cove to pleasant bay, Cape Breton) over three and a half days of rugged terrain. They saved my bacon and will be coming on every hike from now on!"

Lachlan R. (4/5)

Good poles but baskets are hard to change

"I like these poles. But when I went to change the baskets to use them in the snow, they were very difficult to get on and off. So hard to put on that I apparently didn’t get one of the baskets on securely and lost a basket snowshoeing. Unfortunately MSR does not appear to sell replacement baskets."

Janna S. (3/5)

Light and easy to deploy.

"Light and easy to deploy."

Jesse F. (5/5)

took them to mount whitney

"took them to mount whitney to use for the first time and they bent. We were doing the mountaineering route and terrain was intense, but still I was surprised at how poorly they did"

Allison B. (3/5)

Great Poles

"Happy with the poles. Thought I could just use ski poles, but I love how these fold down and can slide into a backpack if I want. Also nice to be able to adjust them if someone else wants to borrow them. They are relatively light weight."

Jill F. (5/5)
