I used this bag two
"I used this bag two times in CO. Both hikes started dry, but at higher elevations, I needed my snowshoes. Pros: 1) When snowshoes are strapped down, they don't move so hiking with them is easy. 2) The main compartment holds a surprising amount of layers and lunch. Cons: 1) While you can use with a water bladder, there is nothing to hook to the bladder so it sinks down the main compartment, 2) Needs a chest strap. Without a chest strap, I couldn't use my phone pocket and made it a bit uncomfortable. 3) Needs outside side pockets, and 4) While it has a small inside pocket, it doesn't hold much and inconvenient to use. I was glad I had my fanny pack for snacks, GUs, tissues, etc. I'm still giving 4-stars as it easier than trying to jerry-rig snowshoes to a regular pack."
