Great buy one and be prepared to get another one

"The Honcho Poncho is a great take on the beloved military wobbie. I’ve used mine as a coat, blanket and ultralight sleeping bag. I keep mine in my Search and Rescue backpack. It’s great for covering hypothermic victims. It can also keep you alive on mountain day hikes if the weather changes or you get lost and have to spend a cold night. If you use combine it with a light sleeping quilt, waterproof poncho, inflatable pad, small stove and pot, you’ve got the basis of an ultralight backpacking kit. It could use two improvements: As others have stated, more snaps to convert it to a sleeping bag! I added a few more to mine and it improves the fit and I can close the foot section when used as a sleeping bag. The other improvement would be a few loops around the midsection so a light belt or pack strap would cinch the poncho around the waist."

I’m loving my new Honcho

"I’m loving my new Honcho Poncho! Even in this heat wave we’ve been having, we keep our AC a little chilly. At night, watching tv, I wear my Honcho Poncho! It keeps me comfortably cozy. I can’t wait to use it while camping when the weather gets cooler. And, taking it to football games, it will be great!! It’s not the most flattering piece in my wardrobe but I love it!"
